Welcome to The Bucket Crab Mitras, an exquisite culinary gem located in the heart of Monterrey, Mexico. Nestled at Tepehuanes 1715, in Mitras Centro, this restaurant specializes in Cajun-inspired seafood that promises to be a delight for the senses. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and focus on fresh ingredients, The Bucket Crab Mitras has quickly become a go-to destination for seafood lovers.
As you step into The Bucket Crab Mitras, you're greeted by a lively ambiance that echoes the spirit of beachside dining. The restaurant's inviting terrace setting creates a relaxed environment, perfect for enjoying a hearty meal with friends and family. As one patron, Carlos Chavez, enthusiastically notes, “the food is fresh, awesome taste, great atmosphere.” Be prepared to indulge your senses, especially when it comes to their signature dishes.
The highlight of the menu is undoubtedly the peel and eat shrimp, a fun culinary experience that truly encourages diners to get hands-on. Maria Flores perfectly captures the essence of this dining experience, stating it allows families “to play with your food” while enjoying a taste reminiscent of coastal delights. And for those adventurous eaters, the crayfish is a must-try; Stephany Pena describes it as “the best ever,” showcasing the restaurant's flair for crafting unforgettable seafood dishes.
The seasoning, particularly in the Cajun sauce, is a favorite among many guests. Andrea Pabion-De Aliaga raves about the “flavors” of the sauce and the perfectly cooked shrimp, even if some wished for larger lobsters. It’s this bold approach to flavors that sets The Bucket Crab Mitras apart in the bustling food scene of Monterrey.
However, the journey is not without its challenges, as a few diners, like USimon Bustos, noted. While the food's taste is exceptional, the wait for a table can range from 30 minutes to an hour. However, as many would agree, it’s well worth the wait. The experience of savoring such flavorful dishes amidst a good-natured atmosphere makes it all worthwhile. Just be prepared for the inevitable mess—after all, great food often calls for a bit of fun.
In terms of price, The Bucket Crab Mitras maintains a reasonable range, ensuring that a delightful dining experience doesn’t break the bank. However, don't expect to pair your meal with a cold beer, as this might disappoint some guests who crave that pairing. Despite some minor hiccups, the overall sentiments are overwhelmingly positive.
In conclusion, if you're in Monterrey and craving seafood that is fresh, flavorful, and served in a playful setting, The Bucket Crab Mitras should be on your list. Bring your appetite, gather your friends or family, and gear up for a delicious, messy meal that you'll be eager to revisit.

It was actually my first time trying crayfish! Honestly the best ever we loved everything that we want to go again soon!
Love the flavors of its cajun sauce! The shrimp was cooked perfectly. I wish the lobster's were a bit bigger
Food was nice, price was reasonable but not a place for dating because your moith and fingers get really dirty jaja
The place is lovely ,the food is so tasteful! The thing this place lack is good service. They take extremely long to sit you down and to service food . If your unpatient this is not the place for you .
My family was looking for the experience of peel and eat shrimp, a fun lunch to have with our kids where you can actually play with your food!!! Really just get messy while you peel the shrimp and eat it, but still lots of fun, and it always reminds me of the beach. So when my hubby found this restaurant in our hometown We had to try it, now I must say that I went more for the feeling and the experience but I was extremely pleasently surprised with everything!!! The service was super friendly and nice, accommodating our special requests, the ambiance was really nice, it is a terrace kind of restaurant so I didn't notice air conditioning, but the food, oh my goodness!!! It was exceptional!!! Portions were very satisfying but the flavour was definetly the best part!!! I really, really loved this Cajun style restaurant!!!
It was ok, a little to much seasoning In the food dor me, no beers which I like with Cajun food. But all good.
